Daily living and life skills
The goal here is to need us less. We teach the things nobody ever sat down and taught you, at whatever pace works.

What it actually looks like
Practical skills, learned by doing them, in real life rather than in a classroom.
- Cooking, shopping and planning meals for a week
- Budgeting, banking and keeping on top of bills
- Using public transport confidently, including practice runs
- Making appointments and speaking up in them
- Looking after a home, from washing machines to landlords
- Phones, email and staying safe online
At your pace, not a program schedule
We do not run a fixed course. We work on what you want to crack next, we go back over things as many times as it takes, and we treat the small wins as wins because they are not small.
The measure of success in this service is that you call us less often. That is an unusual thing for a provider to want, and it is the right thing to want.
Registration group 117, Development of daily living and life skills. Serenica Support is certified against the NDIS Practice Standards.
Who it is usually for
People building toward more independence, often around moving out, starting work or study, or after a change in circumstances. It pairs naturally with community participation and with life stages and transition.
